CHARITY

At Libertas Freedom, our belief that “community is unity” and “love is caring for things close to our hearths” is deeply embedded in our mission to break down barriers—physical, cultural, and emotional—and empower individuals through dance and music. The Latin term “Libertas,” meaning freedom, encapsulates our commitment to fostering a culture of creativity, self-expression, and respect. By creating spaces where participants can experience the joy and liberation that comes with movement, we aim to unite people from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing that freedom and unity are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary forces that strengthen communal bonds.

OUR FORGOTTEN NEIGHBOURS

At Our Forgotten Neighbours the MISSION is simple: to provide different support avenues to as many people in need as our resources allow; regardless of their circumstances.

Aside from our weekly Soup Kitchens providing healthy food to multiple sites on a weekly basis, we organise outreach events in which we fill backpacks with essential survival items such as thermals, tents, long shelf life food, soap etc which we then hand out to people sleeping rough in different areas.

Our Forgotten Neighbours is committed to improving the quality of life of some of the most vulnerable people within our communities and by doing so restoring their dignity.

LITTLE LEGENDS CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION

Our mission is simple, make sure underprivileged children are able to get on equal ground with their better off peers by providing them with school supplies, enrolling them in after-school activities and teaching them about healthy eating and hygiene habits.

Our goal is trying to help as many of these children as possible, because every child is a well of untapped potential and every child deserves the opportunity to explore their hobbies, be able to participate in class because they are well equipped, and lead a happy childhood filled with learning and growth.

Right now we have three main projects we want to put into action alongside our other smaller events for the children.

LOVE YOUR PAWS FOUNDATION

There is a lot of stigma when it comes to being financially disadvantaged and owning a pet. We want to make sure that these families who do not love their pets any less than those with more financial stability get the help they need to make sure their pets are healthy and strong. With poverty and money problems being one of the highest stressors there is, a pet who shows you unconditional love and support might be just what people need to get through the day. Pet ownership is proven to decrease stress, improve heart health, and even help children with their emotional and social skills. Pets needing to be walked, fed and taken care of can push people who might be battling illnesses such as depression to keep maintaining a healthy routine, for the sake of their pet.
